Okay, this is REALLY the final Mock Draft Survey of 2021.
We released the "Final" 2021 Mock Draft Survey on Thursday before the first round began in Cleveland. But throughout Friday, a chunk of publications put out updated Day 2 Mock Drafts ahead of Round 2's start. We counted nine good ones, checked who they had the Texans taking, and put out the list below.
As you'll remember, Houston was without first and second round selections this year because of the 2019 trade with Miami that netted Pro Bowl left tackle Laremy Tunsil. The Texans first pick of 2021 is in the third round, at 67th overall. While there are many mock drafts, there aren't many that predict what will happen beyond the first round. The nine below are split nearly even, as five think Houston will go with help on offense, while four think the Texans take a defender.
Wide receiver Dyami Brown from North Carolina is the only player who was mocked by more than one outlet to the Texans. Friday's round of mock drafts had four wide receiver choices for the Texans, an offensive lineman, two defensive ends, a cornerback and a linebacker.
Former Houston Texans offensive lineman Chester Pitts will announce the pick at approximately 8:45 p.m. CT this evening.
Throughout NFL history, several 67th overall picks have gone on to successful careers.
Use your finger to 'scratch off' the bullheads below to reveal the mocked draft pick.
